Pakistan and China's successful experiment in modern nuclear technology:

Pakistan and China have successfully tested advanced nuclear technology. In this regard, it has been stated in the details that China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) has successfully conducted hot-functional tests of 1100 MW 2 at Karachi Nuclear Power Plant. The pressurized water nuclear reactor is part of a design that will soon become part of basic nuclear technology, also known as the HPR1000, the current nuclear power market in the Howling One technology third generation nuclear reactor. Actor design is the fastest accepted technology.

According to the CNNC official statement, the successful experiments will play a vital role in the construction of nuclear power projects which will help in enhancing the existing operational capabilities of the nuclear power plant. It will also help in the launch of nuclear fuel loading and grid-connected power generation.

It has been informed that K2 and K3 projects of 1100 MW Howling One Reactor Percy NNC are being constructed, construction of which was started in 2015 and 2016 respectively where internal reactors of Howling One project were installed in January 2019 and April 2020 respectively. The infrastructure work of which was completed on 31st August this year, K2 will be operational from next year while K3 will start work one year later, the production capacity of both the projects will be maintained for the next 60 years A total of 10% will meet the requirement.
