The return of international cricket to Pakistan will begin in October. Zimbabwe will play three T20s and as many ODIs. The postponed Test against Bangladesh will be played on ODIs before the tour of New Zealand. Next year, South Africa will play Test series and Sri Lanka or West Indies will play short matches.

The Pakistan Cricket Board has developed a program to revive international cricket in Pakistan. In the third week of October, the Zimbabwe cricket team is coming to Pakistan to play three ODIs and the same number of T20s. The match schedule will be announced after the bio-security and quarantine period. The remaining matches of the HBL PSL Five will be played after the series against Zimbabwe in November.

In May, Pakistan is scheduled to visit New Zealand. Prior to the tour, Pakistan wants to hold a Test and an ODI of the postponed ICC Championship from Bangladesh in April in the country. The dates have been sent to the BCB. The home series of the C Test Championship is scheduled. The PCB is also in talks with the Proteas Board for a T20 series.
