The US dollar depreciated against the Pakistani rupee in the interbank market and remained stable at Rs 166 in the open market:
The US dollar depreciated to 166 against the Pakistani rupee in the interbank market, while the dollar lost 10 paise in the open market and remained stable.
At the Interbank Foreign Exchange (IFEX), the dollar depreciated by 8 paise against the rupee, reducing the buying price of the dollar from Rs 165.88 to Rs 165.80 and the selling price from Rs 166.18 to Rs 166. The buying rate of the dollar remained stable at Rs 166 Sales fell from Rs 166.40 to Rs 166.30.
The buying price of Euro increased from Rs 194.50 to Rs 195 and the selling price increased from Rs 196.50 to Rs 197 while the buying price of British Pound fell from Rs 219 to Rs 218 and the selling price fell from Rs 221 to Rs 220.
