Extreme drought in the US state of California has led to forest fires in cities such as San Francisco. The smoke from this fire is so strong that it is difficult for sunlight to reach the earth. This year, forest fires have engulfed 2.5 million acres in the state.

Smoke and ash have reached the northern parts of the state due to strong winds. On Wednesday morning Some locals in the state say they feel like the Hour has come.

Experts say there is no hope of improvement in the next few days and the forest fires will continue to grow. So far this year, eight people have died in the fire. The fire brigade currently has 14,000 firefighters working at 28 key locations.

San Francisco residents say that when they woke up in the morning, the sky was so dark that they thought it was night. The spread of orange in the sky is a very unusual thing and the visibility in the city is very low at the moment.
